President's Message

Chapter President

What makes PMI Silicon Valley strong is simple: people who show up, support one another, and grow together. That spirit continues to define our community.

April was a meaningful month for our chapter. Alongside strong participation across our sessions and events, we took time to recognize the people who make it all possible: Our volunteers. At the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, we celebrated their dedication and impact. To all our volunteers, thank you for everything you do to strengthen this community.

Member Appreciation Event — Join Us

Building on that spirit, we’re bringing everyone together for our Member Appreciation Event at Topgolf San Jose on May 30. our featured event this month. This is one of our most engaging community gatherings, offering a chance to step away from structured sessions, connect in a relaxed setting, and strengthen relationships across the chapter.

Spots are limited, so I encourage you to register early. Members are welcome to bring a guest.

What’s Ahead in May

Our April workshop, AI for Program and Project Managers, was a strong success. The feedback was clear, members value practical, hands-on learning. We will continue building on this with more immersive sessions that support real-world application.

This month, our PM Insights sessions focus on risk management and AI—two areas that are shaping how we plan, adapt, and deliver in today’s environment. These sessions are designed to provide practical insights you can apply immediately in your work.

I also encourage you to join our Biweekly Job Search Breakfast Meetings, which offer a focused, supportive space for professionals navigating career transitions bringing together peers, industry experts, and hiring leaders to share insights, best practices, and opportunities.

Save the Date — PMI Silicon Valley Symposium 2026
Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Fremont Downtown Event Center

Our volunteer leaders are already working behind the scenes to bring this experience to life for our community. Wherever you are in your journey, I encourage you to stay engaged and take advantage of the opportunities ahead.

Thank you for being part of PMI Silicon Valley.

Cheers,
