President's Message

Chapter President

Dear PMI Silicon Valley Chapter member,

January set the tone.

We opened 2026 with intention: Reconnecting as a community, welcoming our Board of Directors, and creating spaces where learning, leadership, and connection could take root and grow.

Throughout the month, members gathered for PM Insights sessions, learning experiences, job search conversations, and the launch of our Chapter Leadership Cohort. We also introduced the South Bay Happy Hour, a meaningful step toward bringing people together in person, closer to where they live and work. The response reminded us that even in a digital world, human connection still matters.

Thank you for showing up, sharing openly, and shaping the spirit of this community.

February builds on that momentum.

This month, PMI Silicon Valley chooses depth over noise: creating space to pause, reflect, and grow together as project and program leaders navigating real-world complexity.

We’re excited to launch the PMISV Mentorship Program — 2026 Cohort 1, an 8-week, hands-on journey where experienced mentors and motivated mentees learn from real-world experiences and shared challenges. If you’re ready to grow, give back, and be part of something meaningful, registration is now open for mentors and mentees. Please register.

February also brings PM Insights sessions, job search support meetings, regional breakfasts and happy hours, and a featured workshop, Persuasion Skills for Project Managers, focused on influence, communication, and alignment.

This chapter moves forward because members stay engaged, volunteers step forward, and conversations turn into action.

Let’s continue building with purpose, with care, and together.

Thanks,

Hanu Malineni PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe SPC, DASSM
