1. Breakfast Meeting Host (Oversight by VP of Operations)
    Breakfast meetings are local meetings held either monthly or weekly to discuss issues of interest to project managers. The breakfast meeting leaders manage the meeting logistics and venue, facilitate the discussion and agenda-building effort for the meeting, and provide a summary report on content and a list of meeting attendees.

  2. Insight Seminar Management (Oversight by VP of Operations)
    The Insight Seminar team oversees the operation of the chapter’s seminar series including venue and logistics management, plus coordination of speaker recruitment with the Speaker Bureau. The chapter conducts Insight Seminars in Sunnyvale, Fremont and Foster City.

  3. Communications and PR (Oversight by President)
    As part of the Marketing Team, develop and publish collateral relative to chapter activities; including use of email broadcasts, social media  and web site postings.

  4. Special Events (Oversight by VP of Strategy)
    Committees to orchestrate special events, such as Annual Symposium, Multi-chapter events, and 20 Year Anniversary.

  5. Leadership Team Management (Oversight by VP of Administration)
    Provide overall personnel management, recruiting of new volunteers and execution of volunteer events.

  6. Job Broadcast (Oversight by President)
    Distribute the open job descriptions.

  7. Marketing (Oversight by President)
    Develop a marketing plan aligned with the strategic plan. Coordinate marketing activities with the programs, media, email broadcast, and web teams.

  8. Member Services (Oversight by President)
    This team acts as communications central for all chapter inquires, both member and external. They ensure that each inquiry is answered in a timely fashion.

  9. PMP Certification (Oversight by President)
    The PMP Certification team creates and manages activities associated with encouraging members to obtain PMI certification such as certification information meetings and certification review courses.

  10. Sponsor Relations Management (Oversight by President)
    Interface with organizations in supporting the chapter while delivering an awareness of their products and services to chapter members.

  11. Web Technical Services (Oversight by VP of Administration)
    Manage all aspects of the chapter’s web site.

  12. Women’s Forum (Oversight by VP of Operations)
    Organize the monthly Women’s Forum meeting including managing the venue, logistics, and program. Report on content and attendance.

  13. Community Outreach (Oversight by President)
    Participate in the committee that organizes chapter activities with the goal of enabling members to serve the community as an engaged group.
