Description:

Become one of the few who really understand how to do Scrum, and begin your journey to mastery of the Agile world with this solid foundation!

The desire for greater responsiveness to customer needs and reduced time to market is driving the rapid adoption of the Scrum process framework, and the growing need for ScrumMasters who can make Agile projects successful.

Experienced project managers bring valuable skills to Agile projects, but can find the terminology and practices of Scrum bewildering. This two-day class provides the kind of practical, real-world training on Scrum practices that is not available through certification classes. Not only does it present the principles of Scrum in terms that make sense to project managers, but it also provides extensive hands-on training in the day-to-day work of managing Scrum projects.

Day 1 of this course (Training and Practice) provides theory and hands-on exercises needed to master the skills required for Scrum projects.

Day 2 of this course (Executing the Project) guides the class through the planning, execution, tracking, and termination of a real Scrum project. Students should attend the first day before attending the second.

• Learn the nuts and bolts of how to execute Scrum as a software development process, and as an integral part of the business

• See how Scrum practices relate to project-management fundamentals

• Learn the three Scrum roles, three Scrum artifacts, and five Scrum meetings

• Practice all of the core skills with hands-on exercises

• Work through a complete Scrum project, from start to finish
