Presentation Description:

This highly interactive session is focused on exploring some of the common PMO trends, challenges, and risks in an open forum. Whether due to changing business strategies, external pressures, or normal operations, the PMO function needs to continuously adapt and improve itself. Jason draws on his experience with full-scale process re-engineering and system implementation programs. He also walks through a recent case study where agile management methodologies were utilized to help drive PMO improvements. Come prepared to share your perspectives, questions, and experiences!

About the Speakers

Jason Brucker directs global leadership teams for IT program and portfolio management, IT governance, and IT operations improvement solutions.  He is a certified PMP and also possesses certifications in IT governance, IT service management, and IT audit. He has over twelve years of experience in information technology, project management, and risk consulting spanning a variety of solutions and industries. His experience includes a broad range of projects, from short-term audits and assessments, to full-scale process re-engineering and system implementation programs. Jason is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines.

This event is a professional society meeting, held for the benefit of its members. The Plan Ahead registration fee paid is based on the registrant's ability to commit to attendance, ahead of time. The Plan Ahead registration fee will not be refunded for any reason, other than event cancellation, after normal business hours (5:00 PM, Pacific) on the registration deadline day. The PMI - Silicon Valley Chapter reserves the right to make last minute changes to program content and speakers, as circumstances dictate.
