Dulce Franke, PMP, is currently a Senior Project Manager in IT at Gap Inc and has been delivering IT Projects (infrastructure, client & web applications) for more than 15 years. Before Gap Inc, she was Account Executive at a bottled water company in Sacramento, worked at several companies in the Bay Area as a Consultant, and worked in the Philippines as Advertising Media Director. Dulce currently also serves on the IT Advisory Committee in the city of Foster City and was elected Chair in 2007. She is also currently President (2007-2011) of the Filipino-American Association in Foster City. Dulce graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration at California State University, Sacramento, California in 1994 and completed three years of Economics degree in the Philippines. Dulce currently hosts the Belmont and San Bruno Roundtable meetings.

Rick has extensive PM experience markets ranging from commercial-agile to highly-regulated environments. He has managed product lines with up to $80M/year revenue as Director of R&D, SQA, Product Lifecyle leader and operations-related positions. He has extensive experience turning around challenged programs and product lines via his PM skills, customer engagements, and product/management innovations. He is an earlier developer and practitioner of portfolio management systems to achieve product roadmap and market gain optimums.
Rick’s staff management experience includes managing groups of up to 35 staff, managing multinational development teams, and building/rebuilding product development teams. Rick’s technical background began in the aerospace industry. His software development experience lead to senior positions in systems engineering and, ultimately, project management. He holds a BA in Astronomy from the University of California, Berkeley.
Rick is now at Asyst Technologies; a robotics company in the semiconductor industry. At Asyst Technologies, Rick holds the title of Senior Manager; Applications and Product Support group. |

Glen believes in being active with professional societies, and has been a board member and president of the PMI Monterey Bay Chapter, and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) San Francisco Section. To improve the PMI networking in Santa Cruz County, Glen initiated and is now hosting the Santa Cruz Breakfast program. The focus of the breakfast program is on improving communication and negotiating skills. |

Carl Rand has 15 years of combined experience in technology project management, business continuity planning, systems engineering, and process improvement. His areas of expertise include project planning and control, risk assessment and mitigation, management consultation, mentoring, training, curriculum development and career transition.
Carl has worked for major corporations including CA, NetApp, Intuit, Nortel Networks, Visa International, and IBM. As a Certified Associate of Lee Hecht Harrison he provided career transition and consulting services to their clients from Silicon Valley technology companies. In these endeavors, Carl has extended his broad range of project management, consulting and facilitation skills to help organizations assess risks, plan for business continuity, reengineer business processes, effectively manage project portfolios, and implement cross-
functional enterprise programs.
Carl holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA in Marine Biology from Occidental College. He has been a featured track and workshop speaker at several ProjectWorld conferences (2000 - 2005) and is an instructor in the Project Management certificate program at San Jose State University. Carl is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a participant with the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA). Françoise is a manager with extensive operations background and advanced technical and business degrees. She has broad P&L, program management, operations and consulting experience. Her range of responsibilities has included P&L, sales, marketing, technical oversight, planning and budgeting, staffing, risk management and contract negotiations with national/international telecommunications equipment vendors, service providers, enterprises, and Federal Agencies. She is currenlty working at Flextronix as the Director of Program Management.

Sherry S Remington has been a project manager for Cisco Systems, Inc. since 1998. She began her work with Cisco on ERP systems implementations and has engaged in many different types and sizes of projects. She worked as a Project Manager on the one of the largest infrastructure implementations at Cisco. Her previous nine years were spent with an international refuse and recycling company managing multi million dollar municipal contracts. Currently, Sherry is engaged as a leader in the Cisco Services PMO.
A native of Mississippi, Sherry studied at the University of Southern Mississippi. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business. She also holds a Master’s Certificate from The George Washington University School of Business and has a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Sherry is currently achieving a Program Management certificate from Stanford University.
Sherry spends much of her spare time volunteering at organizations such as Second Harvest Food Bank, American Red Cross and Viola Blythe Community Service. She serves as an officer of her local church, a previous board member for CRN, Love INC and is engaged in a variety of social services to the community.

During her time at HP Kristi led the re-design of the HP Services SAP Contract Management solution to enable successful integration of Compaq Services into HP. Kristi has also held positions as an IT manager and recently developed a keen interest in implementation of electronic health care systems. She has been an member of the PMI Silicon Valley Chapter since June 2005. |
