Chapter Activities

 Activity  Description
Evening Program The monthly Evening Program is the chapter's general membership meeting. It consists of networking, dinner, and an educational speaker. It is the chapter's largest single event. The educational material is project management in nature, with a targeted delivery in the middle knowledge level. This meeting also serves as an opportunity for members, officers and volunteers to gather and discuss the organization.
Career Management The PMI Career Management Seminar series seeks to educate and inform chapter members of paradigm shifts in the employment environment and project management career trends, thus providing the foundation for career management ownership and action. Seminar topics range from changing business/industry trends to innovative ideas for effective action in career management.

Tools & Techniques The Tools & Techniques Forum is a monthly educational program designed to equip project managers with information they can put in their own Project Management Toolbox. Each session delivers new insights, approaches and tools that help take project management to a new level. With so many sources of information available today, it's difficult to decide what to read and experience. This program will bring you in direct touch with the latest tools and techniques used in our field. Come join us for our next session!

The meeting's agenda is the topics brought by the attendees. Every meeting is facilitated by a chapter volunteer.

Consultant Breakfast The intent of these meetings is to promote an informal gathering of a dozen or two project managers, working in the consultant or contractor mode of employment, to discuss current topics related to these PM modes of employment, receive suggestions from the other attendees on current challenges, or share information on items of interest. The only cost is what you order from the menu.
