Description:

This interactive, comprehensive workshop will not only teach you how to hire and help you build amazing teams, but it will also hone your own job search skills as a Project Manager. Maybe it’ll even help get “you” hired!  We will go over every step of the job search process, from writing a resume to accepting an offer. In order to hire the right people, we need to understand the psyche of the employer and the candidate. What are they really saying? What do they really mean?

This workshop will make you better prepared to make the right hiring decisions AND to find a better job for yourself. We will trade bad interview stories, share our successes, and critique each other's answers. You will also have a chance to participate in mock interviews, role play scenarios, and receive valuable feedback.

I PROMISE YOU WILL HAVE FUN ALONG THE WAY.

In the 7 hours we'll spend together, we will learn:

•       How to write an effective resume that gets results for Project Manager

•       What to say in your cover letter

•       Where to look for a Project Management job

•       How to know what the candidate is really saying

•       How to utilize your own network without annoying them

•       How to interview effectively

•       How to spot potential problem employees

•       What to say in your “thank you” letter

•       How to follow up with your prospective employer

•       How to hire for growth

•       How to get the best offer

•       How to get a little more

This workshop is also suitable for anyone who wants to be on a project team.
