Description:

Project managers often find themselves asking the following questions:

•       Are we going to come in under budget?

•       What are our true costs?

•       Wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy from another supplier?

•       How much are we spending on customer support?

To get answers, project managers often rely on accountants’ vague answers, team members’ guesstimates, and their own magic 8-ball.  Let’s face it: it’s not the best way.

This seminar will teach you to harness the power of managerial accounting to make informed business decisions.  We will condense 2 semesters’ worth of college level managerial and cost accounting classes into one seminar on cost structure and behavior, profitability analysis, NPV and ROI, flexible budgeting, and intelligent decision making.

By attending this event, Professionals will learn to…

•       Understand profitability.

•       Perform easy sensitivity analyses.

•       Understand budgeting process.

•       Differentiate between project and process accounting

•       Understand the benefits of decentralization

•       Create flexible budgets.

•       Understand NPV, IRR and ROI.

•       Make informed business decisions.

The seminar will not only explain theory and concepts, but also teach you how to apply them in practice.
