Description:

PMP®/CAPM® Boot Camp prepares the participants to take the PMP®/CAPM® certification exams and pass it in the first attempt.

Who should attend:

• PMP®: Project Managers with minimum 3 years of experience in project management are eligible to apply for PMP® certification.

• CAMP®: This is an entry-level certification, targeted towards those who do not have required experience but want to enter in the field of project management.

You will learn how to:

• Prepare to pass the exams while completing the required number of contact hours

• Navigate PMBOK® Guide process groups and knowledge areas

• Analyze the tools and techniques of the PMBOK® Guide processes

• Align your knowledge with PMBOK® Guide

What to expect:

• This is a very exhaustive and fast-paced boot camp with the focus on understanding how to get prepare for the exam.

• The participants are expected to be familiar with the contents of PMBOK® Guide.

• Apart from attending the class, the participants are expected to study on their own using the PMBOK® Guide, the Exam Prep guide and the handouts/notes the class. It is highly recommended to take practice exams before appearing for the final PMP®/CAPM® exam.

• Handouts: The instructor will provide handouts of the slides used in the class

• Required Material: The participants must purchase this material on their own. PMISV or the instructor will not provide it.

About the Instructor(s):

Mandar Kulkarni, MBA, PMP, CSM, ACP is a senior practicing project/program manager with more than 15 years of experience in this area. He has worked at reputed companies like Cisco, Brocade and Accenture. Since 2004, he is a volunteer director of certifications at PMI Silicon Valley chapter. Mandar has been teaching the PMP/CAPM prep classes since 2003 and 97% of his students have passed the certification exams in the first attempt. He is a published author of a leadership book titled “From Team Player to Team Leader”.

Professional Development Programs are designed to provide opportunities for members and non-members to maintain their certifications and work towards PMP certification. The events are also a great opportunity to network with peers and stay abreast of the latest in the Project Management discipline.
