Program Agenda: Community Outreach Program - Fixing Bikes at Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange

When:   October 28, 2017 9:30am - 3:00pm

Where:  2566 Leghorn Street, Mountain View

SF Girl on Bike

Last date for online registration: 10/26/2017

The Bicycle Exchange donates bicycles to a wide range of non-profit service organizations that support diverse people in need across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Recipient organizations serve disadvantaged children, homeless children and adults, immigrants from various countries, veterans, day workers, and others.

For this event we will be helping to repair and clean bicycles.  You do not need to be a master mechanic to help.  You can serve as an apprentice, where you will receive guidance on how to perform repairs.  It's a great opportunity to learn!  There are even some options for folks who would rather not work directly with the bicycles.

Community Outreach:

Community Outreach Group volunteer projects provide an easy and enjoyable way to engage in community service, learn more about needs in our community and work with local non-profits addressing those needs.
