Description:

"Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat." ― Sun Tzu

Companies are looking to increase revenues, lower costs, and create customer delight. To do this means enterprises are changing their strategies to meet 21st century demands of creating deeper customer engagement, accelerating value creation, and increasing efficiency of capital. And at the same time, companies are looking to attract top talent, build an enjoyable employee workplace and create positive corporate culture.

The problem is that most companies try to implement new strategies using an outdated operating model. It’s like trying to power your electric car using gasoline.

When company strategies start to change, like incorporating a “digital strategy”, how does that affect the operating model? And when operating models emerge, how does that affect strategy.

Project managers and program managers are often caught in the middle of this relationship as the success of execution falls on the shoulders of delivery teams.  And if either the strategy or the operating model is misaligned, projects will fail.

This presentation is intended to help attendees:

•       Understand Operating Models, Strategy, and Execution

•       Learn the affect and impact of Agile across Operating Model elements for successful Program Execution.

•       How to Re-calibrate the Operating Model to include Agility and Program execution.
