Description:

An old survey once found that our society’s two biggest fears are public speaking and death… in that order. This workshop will show you that public speaking doesn’t have to be scary; in fact, it could be quite fun. If you know how to talk, you can learn how to present confidently and effectively.

Do you admire and envy people who control the room with their voice? Do you find yourself wishing you could hold the attention of a group? Do you have to motivate and and persuade your peers, coworkers and managers, but you seem to be falling short?
Dynamic presenters and inspiring speakers aren’t born. There are methods, techniques, strategies, tips, and recommendations that will help you become an effective speaker. This workshop will give you all the tools you need to conquer your fear and speak in front of the audience like an old pro. Using a proven combination of theory, practice, jokes, and anecdotes in a supportive and collaborative environment, we will make a better speaker out of you.
Whether you avoid public speaking like the plague or never miss an opportunity to speak in front of a group, you will be amazed at how much this workshop will boost your confidence and make you a better presenter.

Some of the specific areas of emphasis include: building confidence, preparing presentations, framing and delivery, signaling, building rapport, using visual aids, persuading the audience and many more. And, of course, practice, practice, PRACTICE!.
