Sherrie Osborne, works for Kaiser Permanente, as the HIPAA Application Security Program (HASP) Manager.
Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Sherrie was a Senior Program Manager, IT Compliance at Sun Microsystems, Inc., where she was responsible for driving IT compliance requirements on programs and projects including SOX, data privacy and security,

U.S. Government contract compliance, IT Governance, and COBIT. Sherrie's experience at Sun includes management positions in Corporate Finance, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, and Treasury.
Sherrie earned a BS in Economics from the University of San Francisco and holds CISA, CISM, Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP), ITIL, Prince 2 Foundation, and Prince 2 Practitioner certifications. She maintains ISACA affiliation and is an active and accomplished member of Toastmasters.
Sherrie enjoys playing piano in her spare time.
