Description:

Are you an expert with no voice?  When people need you, can they find you?  When you are in transition, how do you  re-introduce yourself to the world?  When you are independent, how do you establish your presence?

Here are 10 easy ways to create web presence and increase your street value throughout your career.  They help you translate your professional accomplishments, experience, and knowledge into a solid revenue base, regardless of employment circumstance.

Become a thought leader and expert in your field.  If you are in transition, now is the perfect time to let your voice be heard and help the people who need you, find you.  If you are settled in a contract or job, continue to interact, contribute, and lead, building evidence of increasing influence and accomplishment.  You’ll leave this session knowing exactly how to begin and sustain your own professional voice in the world.

By attending this interactive, participative event, you’ll  be able to:

  • Write short, compelling articles in your field and leverage them everywhere  (Content tips, hints on tags and keywords, posting and publishing links, with examples)
  • Participate and contribute in your profession  (Examples of using online networks, creating communities-of-interest, forming alliances, with bibliography and resources)
  • Exchange ideas and become a recognized thought leader  (Tips on posting and commenting, trackbacks, RSS, multi-media, with examples)

An online Forum is available to attendees following this session for 1 week,  continuing dialogue, answering questions, sharing the examples, links, and resources from the session, and adding new ideas and resources as attendees may share and contribute.

As a Professional, you can take control of your web presence.   Use your voice and protect your future.
